Nearly Four Decades of Experience, One Legacy
Ahmed bin Yousef Saeed Al Midfa Al Harthi represents the continuation of a long-standing legacy in driver training in the Emirate of Sharjah. The journey began in 1977, when his late father, Yousef Saeed Al Midfa Al Harthi, founded Al Midfa Driving School. Ahmed joined the family profession in the late 1980s and has since built nearly four decades of hands-on experience — living through the many stages of Sharjah's driver training sector, from changes in training methods and testing systems to new vehicles and teaching approaches.
Following his father's passing, Ahmed continued the journey, carrying forward the principles the school was founded on: integrity, responsibility, patience, respect for learners, and a commitment to quality training — all while keeping pace with the changing needs of the industry. He believes a driving school's responsibility does not end when a learner passes the test and receives a licence; the greater responsibility is preparing a safe, confident, and responsible driver who respects the road and other road users.
Today, Ahmed continues that mission through his role on the Sharjah Driving Schools Committee, contributing decades of practical experience toward the development of the sector, stronger cooperation between driving schools and the relevant authorities, and initiatives that promote road safety for everyone.
